Ardvullin Weekend Adventure Wellbeing Retreat
Have you ever thought how nice it would be to step off the train of daily life as it rattles endlessly forward, switch off – disconnect – just for a short while and connect with the moment. How nice would it be to have some you time and find balance. We are offering you the opportunity to switch off, journey away from one’s daily responsibilities and preoccupations. This retreat is created with the intention of leaving you with a sense of deep rest and release, replenishment, and a warm hearted connection to your essential, peaceful, nature.
During this retreat you will have the option to be guided through a combination restful yoga practices, guided relaxation, meditation, and breath work, as well as the opportunity to partake in a paddle on the loch, walk in the glens, possibly take a dip in the loch as well as other sessions such as connect with your inner child or drum vibrations. There will also be the opportunity for 1 to 1 yoga*, coaching or hypnotherapy sessions* or enjoy a relaxing, restorative massage*
There will also be time set aside for silence, dialogue and solitude.
The venue for this retreat will be at Ardvullin House, with dorm style accommodation. This is an attractive stone built house which dates from 1780, and is now used as a large holiday home and activity centre for disadvantaged children. It was originally built as a ghillie’s cottage but was extended between 1800 and 1860 into a much grander highland home. The attraction of using this venue is not only its stunning location, the beautiful house, its setting in a quiet highland location – but as you will gain from this experience you also know that the contribution you have made to the retreat will also be giving back to a fantastic charity for children, as the rental of this property helps keep the centre running.
Ardvullin house enjoys a scenic and tranquil highland setting, surrounded by Loch Linnhe on three sides. It’s set back from the water’s edge protected by woodland and moorland behind, with gardens running down to a delightful inland loch. The house has an open outlook to the south west with spectacular views down Loch Linnhe towards Lismore and Mull.
